The SOAR Accounting Symposium is the School of Accountancy Research (SOAR) Centre’s annual flagship event and is part of the Centre's efforts to contribute knowledge, thought-leadership, and innovative ideas. It provides a platform for researchers from School of Accountancy and top schools around the world to share ideas and stimulate debate through paper presentations and discussions. The Symposium has attracted many high-quality research paper submissions, featured some of the best accounting scholars as keynote speakers, and attracted well-known researchers around the world to engage in intellectual interactions.
Paper Submission Procedure
The deadline for submissions is September 15, 2021. Please submit your unpublished manuscripts to soar@smu.edu.sg. Papers in all areas relevant to accounting are welcome for submission. Authors of accepted papers will be informed in October 2021.
Format: Each paper presentation is followed by a discussant’s critique and a Q&A session.

Registration for the symposium opens on September 15, 2021. The registration fee is SGD 50.
