The University of Barcelona Business School is seeking expressions of interest for an Assistant Professor position in Accounting starting in September 2026. Promotion to tenure [Associate Professor] will require both the corresponding governmental accreditation and successful completion of the required selection process.

It enjoys a long tradition of teaching, offering both undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes in the field of Economics and Business. In this framework, UB Business School provides an important platform for research and postgraduate education in Business.
Candidates are expected to show outstanding commitment to research and must have completed a PhD when taking up the position.
They will be expected to teach in both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes [180 hours per academic year], supervise students’ work at all levels, establish independent research programmes with international recognition, and actively contribute to the School’s research activities.
The current gross annual salary for is €38,318, complemented with research and teaching recognition programmes.
