Applications are invited for the position of Career Development Fellow in Accounting at Saïd Business School. Based in the FAME (Finance, Accounting, Management Science and Economics) academic area, the Fellow will be expected to define and execute a research agenda in accounting. The appointee will work closely with faculty in the Accounting group, but it is expected that s/he will be fully integrated into the academic and scholarly life of the academic area. This position is akin to a post-doctoral position for a period of three years. 

The Fellow will be expected to produce independent academic research aimed at top peer-reviewed journals and to present this research at national and international conferences, define research projects with a high impact on practice or policy and manage research projects and joint research impact activities with partners in the spheres of regulation, policy and/or practice. The successful candidate will also teach on courses (half the load of full-time faculty), primarily on those related to accounting and help supervise research students, including doctoral students and visiting researchers from other universities.
 
The successful candidate will hold or be working towards a PhD in Accounting or a closely related field and will possess sufficient specialist knowledge in the discipline to work within established research programmes. The post holder will also have a commitment to teaching and supporting the teaching activities of the FAME group.
