We are looking for a Postdoc in “Managerial Accounting” with a 5-year contract without tenure track option. We offer:

Job description:
• Freely chosen research projects on managerial or financial accounting, corporate social responsibility, or corporate misconduct
• Teaching in Managerial Accounting at the Bachelor’s and Master’s level (in English or German), 4 hours per week, about 30 weeks of teaching per year
• The job serves as preparation for the Habilitation post-doctoral lecturing qualification

Formal requirements:
• Master’s in Business Studies, Economics, or a related field
• Ph.D. with a focus on accounting or finance, in German-speaking countries with at least magna cum laude

What we are looking for:
• Excellent proficiency in managerial and/or financial accounting
• Excellent econometric and/or microeconomic proficiency
• Ideally, university teaching experience in managerial or financial accounting on the Bachelor’s or Master’s level
• An excellent command of English
• Ideally, published papers or papers under review in renowned journals
