EAA Education Provocation Workshop and Survey

The Covid pandemic has brought an unprecedented change for accounting education around the world. How we engage with our students, the way we educate, the content we develop, the technologies we use, the way education is accessed, the classroom and the discussions we have within it are all changing at rapid speed. We are adapting, pivoting, adjusting, struggling and coping in equal measures as we transition to new possibilities across unchartered terrain.

In January 2021, the newly formed EAA Education Committee will send out a survey to get a better understanding of the needs of our members with respect to education resources and events.

In addition, the December 14 education-focused webinar “Accounting Education Futures: A Post-pandemic Provocation” is the first in a series of new initiatives brought to you by the EAA Education Committee and will provide participants with the opportunity to reflect on the year that was, discuss accounting education futures from different perspectives, including technology, equity and diversity, learning design, access to education and the new look and feel of accounting classrooms. Join leading accounting educators from around the world who will offer up diverse provocations, lead us to reflect on 2020 and to envision educational pathways forward for 2021 and beyond. See below for details on the panel moderator and provocateurs.
