Getting to Glasgow

Glasgow is situated on the west coast of Scotland and lies at the heart of a major air, rail and road network, making it one of Europe's most accessible destinations.

By Air

Glasgow International Airport
More than 30 airlines link Glasgow International Airport to 90 destinations worldwide. Click on the link above to view destinations and airlines.
A taxi to the city centre will cost approximately £15-£20. A direct airport bus also operates between the city and the airport every 10 minutes and fares are £4.50/£6.50 for single/return journeys.

Glasgow Prestwick Airport
Glasgow Prestwick Airport is located 30 miles (48 kilometres) south of Glasgow. A railway station is adjacent to the Airport with regular direct trains to the city centre which take 45 minutes. Approximate cost is around £3.00 and tickets can be purchased on the train.
A taxi to the city centre will cost approximately £60-£70.

Edinburgh International Airport
Edinburgh is approximately a one hour drive from Glasgow. A taxi can be expensive (approximately £70) and we would recommend taking a taxi from the airport to Waverley Train Station, where there is a regular train service to Glasgow Central Station. The journey time is approximately one hour and trains depart every 15 minutes, depending on the time of day. Approximately £18.00 Peak Day Return and £11.00 Off Peak Return.
