Brussels Zaventem Airport

International airport, flights arriving from and departing to worldwide destinations. Car or taxi will take 1 hour to Maastricht. A taxi from Brussels Airport to Maastricht costs around €125. By train: 1 hour, 35 minutes. The train station is located below the terminals, level -1. From Brussels Airport you should take a train to Leuven. In Leuven you take a train to Liège. Düsseldorf Airport

International airport, flights arriving from and departing to worldwide destinations. Car or taxi to Maastricht 1.5 hours. A taxi from Düsseldorf Airport to Maastricht costs around €150. A train brings you from Düsseldorf Airport to Aachen Central Station. In Aachen you can take bus line 50 directly from Aachen to Maastricht Central Station. Amsterdam Airport Schiphol

International airport, flights arriving from and departing to worldwide destinations. Train/car to Maastricht 2.5 hours. From Amsterdam Schiphol Airport there are two options to reach Maastricht by train, depending on the time your flight arrives:

Option 1: Amsterdam Airport offers direct trains to Utrecht. From Utrecht you can take a direct train to Maastricht leaving two times per hour.

Option 2: Amsterdam Airport offers direct trains to Sittard. From Sittard you can take a direct train to Maastricht leaving four times per hour.

Other possibilities

Maastricht Aachen Airport

Small regional airport. Flights to and from Alicante, Antalya, Barcelona, Bari, Budapest, Faro, Heraklion, Katowice and Porto. Bus/car/taxi to Maastricht 15 minutes. There is a bus connection between Maastricht Aachen Airport and Maastricht Central Station, bus line 59. For information on the bus, please visit www.9292.nl/en#.

Eindhoven Airport

Small regional airport with flights arriving from and departing to a large number of European destinations. Train/car/taxi to Maastricht 1 hour. There is a direct train connection from Eindhoven Central Station to Maastricht Central Station (see www.ns.nl/en/travellers/home). You can take bus 401 from Eindhoven Airport to Eindhoven Central Station.

Cologne-Bonn Airport

International airport, flights arriving from and departing to several worldwide destinations. Train connection to Maastricht 2.5 hours, car/taxi to Maastricht 1 hour. From Cologne you can take the train to Aachen. In Aachen you can take bus line 50 directly from Aachen to Maastricht Central Station. Dusseldorf Weeze Airport

Small regional airport with flights arriving from and departing to a large number of European destinations. Car / taxi to Maastricht 1 hour and 30 minutes. Shuttle bus to Venlo and train to Maastricht, 2 hours. The shuttle bus to Venlo departs every two hours. It takes 35 minutes to go to Venlo. In Venlo you can take a train to Maastricht. Train

Maastricht has two railway stations: Noord, Central and Randwyck.

From Central, you can walk into the city centre. Many hotels are located within walking distance of this station. Randwyck is at just 250 metres from the congress centre MECC Maastricht.

Eurostar

From London St. Pancras you can book a direct train to Brussels via www.Eurostar.com. This journey takes approximately 2 hours. In Brussels you need to take a train to Liège. In Liège you can take a direct train to Maastricht. You can book a ticket via www.nsinternational.nl/. Total travel time is about 4 hours.

Thalys

From Paris you can travel to Maastricht by train in 3 hours and 15 minutes (changing trains in Liège). Information and reservations can be made at www.thalys.com and www.nsinternational.nl/.

Car

Maastricht is located on the E25 junction on the A2 motorway (Amsterdam-Brussels) and the A79 motorway (Liege-Aachen/Cologne) with good links to other European motorways. The conference centre is located directly on the E25/A2. Take the Randwyck/MECC/AZM turnoff and follow signs for MECC or MECC Parking. You can buy a parking ticket in the central hall from the congress centre. A ticket costs € 10,00 per day.

Signage to MECC Maastricht is visible as soon as you reach Maastricht. Follow the signs until you reach the MECC car park. If you are travelling south on the A2/E25 motorway (from Amsterdam-Eindhoven), take exit 55 signed ‘Randwyck-MECC’. If you are travelling north on the A2/E25 motorway (from Paris-Liège) take exit 56 signed for ‘Gronsveld-MECC’.
