INTERNATIONAL TRANSPORT CONNECTIONS TO BERGEN
The numerous direct routes make the city easily accessible with a minimum of travelling time. Pre corona there were frequent flights from major European hubs; thirty daily to Oslo, six daily to Copenhagen, four to Amsterdam, two to London Gatwick and two to Stockholm. There are also direct routes to Paris, Munchen, Zürich, Madrid, Hamburg – and over 40 other destinations.
Most of the international car rental companies are represented at the airport, and the shuttle bus and light rail services “Bybanen” are excellent.
The largest airlines at Bergen airport are Norwegian, SAS and Widerøe. KLM is also well established, and in 2018 they expand their operations introducing Air France with daily operations to Paris. Other airlines that operate in the route schedule at the airport are Wizz Air, Finnair, Icelandair, Atlantic Airways, Vueling, SWISS, Loganair and Danish Air transport.
