IMPORTANT NOTICE: For all those attending any EAA Annual Congress — you will automatically become an EAA Member for the year after the conference takes place! This means that if you attend the EAA Annual Congress this year, you are automatically registered as a Member of the Association for the following calendar year, thereby receiving the above benefits of membership.

If you do not attend the EAA Annual Congress (or if you let a year lapse between conferences), your membership can nonetheless be maintained by completing and submitting the Membership Application Form and paying the Membership Fee for that year directly to the EAA Secretariat.

The EAA Membership Fee includes a digital copy of the two EAA Journals (EAR and AinE). It is nevertheless still possible to opt for a paper copy of the journals. Members requesting a paper copy of EAR and AinE will be charged 20€ extra exclusive of VAT at 21%.

Membership prices are based on the World Bank income classification of the country in which a member’s institution is based. Country classifications are defined by high- income, middle-income, low-middle-income and low-income.

Membership fees:

Academics in high income countries 80€, exclusive of VAT at 21%, including a digital copy of EAR and AinE
Academics in upper middle income countries 60€, exclusive of VAT at 21%, including a digital copy of EAR and AinE
Academics in lower middle income countries 40€, exclusive of VAT at 21%, including a digital copy of EAR and AinE
Academics in low income countries 20€, exclusive of VAT at 21%, including a digital copy of EAR and AinE
PhD Students in high income countries 20€, exclusive of VAT at 21%, including a digital copy of EAR and AinE
PhD Students in low\middle income countries 10€, exclusive of VAT at 21%, including a digital copy of EAR and AinE

 

To find out which membership fees apply to you, please confirm whether the country in which your institution is based is classed as a Low, Lower Middle or Upper Middle income country (countries not included in this table are all classed as high income).
