EAA DEI Research Workshop Series, Part One b — From Question to Evidence: Methods for DEI Research in Accounting. Wednesday 2 December 2026, 14:00–15:30 CET, online. A closed method clinic for the Part One a author cohort; limited observer seats. Details: [link]
On 7 October, eighteen authors brought extended abstracts on diversity, equity and inclusion in accounting for feedback on the substance of their work. This session is the other half: the same cohort, regrouped by research method into archival, qualitative and large-language-model rooms, working on the design problems that decide whether these papers can answer their own questions — measurement across jurisdictions where identity data differ or cannot be collected, samples that are small by necessity, and defending rigour to reviewers trained in another tradition.
This is a working session rather than a programme, so there is no panel and no audience. A small number of observer seats are available inside the clinics for doctoral students and early-career researchers who want to see how experienced methodologists work through an unfinished design. Observers listen; they do not present. Seats are allocated by method and confirmed with the authors in that room beforehand.
