Chamber of Financial Auditors of Romania (CAFR)

The Chamber of Financial Auditors of Romania is the professional body in charge of coordinating, authorizing and representing the financial audit activity in Romania, other than statutory audit.

CAFR is a advocate of the adoption of international professional standards, while providing the business environment and society, in general, with clear sets of regulations and trust in audit engagements.

We are actively contributing to the activity of IFAC, Accountancy Europe, EFAA, PAEE and the Strategic Forum for the Accounting Profession. At internal level we participate in all audit-related consultations carried out by national authorities and we actively cooperate with State institutions, similar professional bodies, the academia and the business environment.
