Carl Menconi Ethics Case Competition – Open to academics, practitioners, and teams, this competition strives to develop teaching cases in the area of business ethics. Besides a useful tool for students studying ethics, the winning case will be featured in Strategic Finance and will be recognized at IMA’s Annual Conference & Expo 2022. Winners will also receive free Conference registration and a $500 cash prize.

IMA Incubator Grant Program – The IMA Research Foundation is committed to developing the management accounting researchers of tomorrow. The Incubator Grant Program awards grants of up to $5,000 for small Proof of Concept projects that will lead to more in-depth research.

IMA Emerging Scholar Award – This award recognizes an early-career researcher who has made a meaningful and important contribution to applied management accounting literature. Recipients of this award will receive an award of $2,500.

Distinguished Scholar Award – This award recognizes a researcher who has made outstanding contributions over a sustained period to applied management accounting literature. This award recognizes the accomplishments of a mid-career or later nominee. This award may also be awarded jointly to researchers who have collaborated extensively together.
