After its official launch in March 2022 and several subsequent online events (see the recording of our last one “Examining Unequal Relationships in Research Partnerships” here), Accounting for Impact (AFI) invites to the next event, which will be for the first time IN PERSON and in collaboration with CPA Ontario:

Accounting for Impact Summit – Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Indigeneity (see high-level agenda and preliminary information on event page here).

During this event, participants will examine notions related to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Indigeneity (DEII) in accounting teaching, research and practice. By the end of the session, participants will:

• Engage in hand-on workshops to develop best practices related to DEII that they use in their practice.
• Challenge their mindset related to DEII and learn how to overcome barriers to inclusion in the workplace
• Learn from industry leaders on how to effect transformation in their organization around the pillars of DEII
