About

The Hawai'i Accounting Research Conference (HARC) is an annual global accounting conference organized by the Shidler College of Business at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa (UHM). The conference will provide an enjoyable and affordable venue for attendees to engage in lively discussions about intellectually stimulating accounting research.

KEYNOTE SPEAKER: Sudipta Basu, Robert Livingston Johnson Senior Research Fellow Professor of Accounting, Associate Dean, Research and Doctoral Programs, Fox School of Business, Temple University.

REGISTRATION FEES:
• $100 PhD Students
• $425 Regular Registration
• $500 Late Registration
Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis, and space is limited to 300 people.

ACCOMMODATIONS:
• Limited dorms and small apartments on campus may become available January 1 – 7 for $59 – $85.00 per night. Given the Pandemic concerns, the availability of on-campus apartments will be determined in early September 2021.

• Limited special HARC rates are available at the Prince Waikiki for $280 per night. Ala Moana Hotel by Mantra also provides special HARC rates for Kona Tower ($174) and Waikiki Tower ($199) rooms. For both hotels, rates do not include resort fees and taxes.
