The tenure track will run for up to six years with the possibility of a promotion to associate professor (tenured) position by the end of that period upon meeting national requirements for an associate professor. The position is open to candidates working in all fields of Accounting.

Teaching involves courses in the department’s B. Sc. M. Sc. and PhD programmes (taught in English).
The salary is comparable to other public European universities. Importantly, depending on individual circumstances (e.g. having spent at least two years of relevant work experience outside of Italy) candidates may be eligible for tax abatements of up to 90% of annual salary advantages if meeting the requirements.
The Department guarantees a starting research grant in addition to research funds allocated yearly based on past publication record. Early career researchers are strongly encouraged and supported in applying for additional research funds at the University level or to external funding bodies. The candidate will also be included in the accounting research group’ funding scheme to get additional support (click here).
The current Italian tax law provides special fiscal treatment for individuals relocating from abroad. It offers a near-total exemption from personal income tax for an extended period, ranging from 6 to 13 years, depending on personal circumstances.
