The College of Business at UCD is a dynamic, research-intensive, business school located in the vibrant European capital of Dublin. With a history reaching back over a century, the College has educated business leaders who have impacted greatly on the economic development of Ireland and beyond. It is the only Irish member of the Global Alliance in Management Education (CEMS) and the Global Network for Advanced Management (GNAM), and the College also holds the triple crown of accreditation from AACSB (US), EQUIS (Europe) and AMBA (UK).

We have recently completed a strategic planning process which sets out an exciting and ambitious agenda for the College in years ahead across research and innovation, teaching and learning, and meaningful societal engagement. In support of the University and College’s strategic ambitions, we are now looking to recruit energetic, team-spirited,  faculty colleagues who will have real impact across each of these dimensions.

The College is comprised of four constituent parts, the Lochlann Quinn School of Business (‘the Quinn School’), the Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School (‘the Smurfit School’), UCD Business – Global Campus, and Smurfit Executive Development (‘Executive Development’).

Application Procedure

 

Applications will consist of a cover letter, in which the applicant will describe how their academic and research profile aligns with one or more of the UCD strategic themes (1. Creating a Sustainable Global Society, 2. Transforming through Digital Technology, 3. Building a Healthy World, 4. Empowering Humanity), a complete CV including all research publications and research grants to date together with any publications submitted for publication but not yet published, and the names and the contact details of three potential referees. 95 Lecturer/Assistant Professor (above the bar) Salary Scale:  €58,206 – €92,172 per annum

 

Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines.
