Call for Research Papers and Panel Proposals
We welcome papers on a wide variety of topics and methodologies, including:
• Financial reporting and disclosure in global contexts
• Investigations of international and national standards and institutional settings
• The impact of accounting standards and regulatory changes
• International auditing and assurance issues
• Management and control issues in global environments
• Other topics related to international accounting
• Sustainability and ESG reporting practices
• The use of textual analysis and artificial intelligence (AI) in accounting research
• Tax policy and practice across jurisdictions
• Education research and instructional case studies
• Single-country studies (including those focused on the U.S.) that address emerging issues, utilize novel data sources or methodologies, or offer insights relevant to standard setters, regulators, and international businesses
We also welcome proposals for panel sessions. For panel proposals, please describe the rationale and importance of the topic. The deadline for submissions for both research papers and panel proposals is Monday, September 1, 2025, 11:59 EDT.
