The Research Camp aims at bringing together both experienced scholars, early career researchers, and PhD students to exchange research ideas and projects in one of the most charming Swiss Alps resorts. Topics:

We invite submissions of papers in all areas of financial and management accounting, in particular empirical studies employing novel data and innovative approaches (e.g. field studies, experiments, hand-collected, AI-driven) and/or settings (e.g. private or public firms, banks and financial services, European or global data) that are of potential interest to regulators and practitioners. We also strongly encourage doctoral students to submit dissertation chapters, working papers, or other thesis-related research to the Doctoral Colloquium, which will be held on February 17th , 2027.


Submission Deadline:

The deadline for original papers to be considered for SARAC 2027 is September 1st, 2026. Please submit your paper via our online submission portal.


Registration Timeline & Fee :

The registration deadline for SARAC 2027 is December 15th 2026 with an early registration fee (before November 1st 2026) per person of CHF 400 (CHF 300 for PhD students/non-faculty). The fee covers conference sessions, coffee breaks, lunch, an   early-bird reception and a gala dinner. Participation is limited so early registration is encouraged! Participants will need to cover their own travel and accommodation costs.


Offsite Activities:
We encourage participants to enjoy the Swiss winter outdoors! Crans-Montana offers amazing ski, snow-shoe and mountain walk opportunities. Additionally, for those that prefer more relaxing activities, the quaint ski town is full of Swiss restaurants, cozy coffee shops and spa/sauna accommodations.
