This year’s conference will be held at the University of Portsmouth and keynote speakers include Professor Shahzad Uddin, Professor of Accounting at the Essex Business School (University of Essex) and winner of the 2022 BAFA Distinguished Academic Award; Dr Rhoda Brown (Nottingham Trent University); and Professor Trevor Hopper, Emeritus Professor of Management Accounting (University of Sussex Business School).

The calls for papers for both the BAFA Annual Conference and the Doctoral Masterclasses are available on the conference web page, along with important dates. The deadline for paper submissions is 30 November 2023.
