Professor of Data and Decision Science (open-rank)

 

The ideal candidates apply or develop data science techniques to address research questions in the areas of Accounting, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Management, Marketing, Operations or other fields taught at business schools, and are also able to teach data science methods at the intermediate and advanced levels. Frankfurt School recently introduced a Master in Applied Data Science and will introduce a new Bachelor in Computational Business Analytics in 2020.

 

For senior applicants, we expect a strong publications record in top journals as well as strong international visibility within the academic community. For junior applicants, we focus on promising indications of the ability to publish at the highest international level. We offer a stimulating research environment, including a research seminar series, a PhD program, generous research funding, and all the opportunities of a dynamic private business school. The city of Frankfurt is ranked 7th worldwide in the Mercer “Quality of Living“ Ranking 2019.
