The EAA is pleased to announce a new session in the series of “Meet the Editors” events.

For the healthy future of our accounting academe, it is essential that PhD students and junior faculty learn how to navigate the increasingly high expectations set on the quality of research work. This series of events provides early career scholars with an opportunity to learn and discuss how to successfully manage the competitive process of paper publication.

The fourth EAA “Meet the Editors” virtual session will take place on Zoom on February 17, 2023, at 2.00 pm CET (e.g., Brussels time), featuring the editors of the three leading accounting information systems journals: Stewart Leech and Severin Grabski (International Journal of Accounting Information Systems), Miklos Vasarhelyi (Journal of Emerging Technologies in Accounting), and David Wang and Carla Wilkin (Journal of Information Systems). These three journals publish articles on research that sits at the intersection of accounting and information systems.  Different research methodologies are welcome.

All three journals encourage the work of early academic scholars, and the editors will gladly answer questions on how to get published in these journals.
