The EAA Diversity Equity and Inclusion Committee (DEIC) is delighted to continue with the series of critical conversations on the importance of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Accounting within the context of Europe and beyond. This panel discussion on Ableism in Accounting Academy – Research and Practice will delve into the challenges and opportunities that people with disabilities face within the accounting academia and profession. Thought leaders from industry and academia will explore how corporate environments and educational institutions can work together to improve inclusivity, and equity for individuals with disabilities. This event will take place on Zoom, on December 4th, 2024, at 3:00pm – 4:30pm CET. Registration is free and open here.
