The EAA DEI Committee is pleased to invite you to our upcoming event, “Editors’ Forum: Advancing DEI Research in Accounting”, taking place via Zoom on September 8 from 2:00 to 3:30 pm (CET). Registration is now open Here.
Diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) continue to shape research agendas across the accounting discipline. This forum brings together guest editors of recent and forthcoming special issues on DEI, together with a practitioner, to discuss the current state and future direction of DEI research in accounting.
Drawing on their editorial experiences, panelists will explore emerging research themes, methodological and theoretical developments, publication opportunities, and the challenges of advancing rigorous, relevant and impactful DEI scholarship. While some of the featured special issues remain open for submissions and others have already concluded, each offers valuable insights into the evolution of DEI research and the questions that continue to shape the field.
The session will conclude with an interactive discussion and audience Q&A, providing participants with the opportunity to engage directly with editors, gain practical insights into publishing DEI research, and identify promising avenues for future scholarship. The forum will be of interest to established researchers, early career scholars and doctoral students interested in contributing to this rapidly evolving area of accounting research.
The 90-minute event will include a panel discussion followed by a Q&A session.
