Call for Participants: 2nd EAA/ISSB/EFRAG Sustainability Reporting Standards Education Workshop, Frankfurt, 12th-13th January 2026
The European Accounting Association (EAA) invites participants in the upcoming 2nd Sustainability Reporting Standards Education Workshop, to be held at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management in January 2026. The workshop is organized in conjunction with EFRAG and the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB).
This workshop will bring together educators involved in teaching sustainability reporting following both EU and international standards in accounting courses and curricula at undergraduate, postgraduate and executive levels with the aim to provide guidance and disciplines, foster the sharing of experiences, challenges, and innovative approaches.
As well as EAA members joining the audience to receive updates from standard setters and experienced educators in sustainability reporting standards, we seek contributions from educators interested in sharing their expertise either as a speaker (up to 2 spaces) or through poster sessions. Speakers will require significant expertise and experience in delivering and assessing courses on sustainability reporting. Proposals for posters should reflect experiences, insights, and practices that address the evolving landscape of sustainability reporting standards education.
Relevant Topics for Contributions:
If you are interested in participating, please submit an expression of interest including your proposed contribution, along with a brief outline (up to 300 words) highlighting the focus and relevance of your experience. Modules’ syllabi could also be included.
Please send your expression of interest by the 10th of November to baha.diyarov@eiasm.be. The EAA Stakeholder Reporting Committee and Education Committee will select the contributors. Selected contributors will be notified by the 20th of November.
We look forward to your participation in shaping the future of sustainability reporting education!
The registration closes on 15 December 2025 12:00 CET.
