The EAA Stakeholder Reporting Committee (SRC) is pleased to continue the “In Conversation with…” Webinar Series.
This session has been organised by Prof. Charles Cho (SRC Member) and Prof. Begoña Giner (SRC Chair)
On the September 5, 2022, EFRAG and GRI published a joint statement on the high level of interoperability achieved between the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) and the GRI Standards in relation to impact materiality. In essence, this means that existing GRI reporters will be well prepared to report under the ESRS. Entities reporting under ESRS are considered as reporting with reference to the GRI Standards and will therefore avoid the burden of multiple reporting.
The aim of the session is to present and discuss the implications of this agreement in detail with the academic community once the ESRS have been finally accepted by the European co-legislators.
