EFRAG & EAA joint outreach event on the EFRAG Exposure Drafts on Draft ESRS

EFRAG and the European Accounting Association (EAA) will hold a joint outreach event on 14 July 2022 in Brussels to discuss the EFRAG Exposure Drafts on the first set of Draft European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS).

On 29 April 2022, EFRAG launched a public consultation on the Exposure Drafts on Draft European Sustainability Reporting Standards. The public consultation is seeking views on the proposed disclosure requirements, including their adequacy, how the way the CSRD principles have been implemented and possible options for phasing-in the implementation.

In this context, EFRAG, in conjunction with the Stakeholder Reporting Committee of the European Accounting Association (SRC-EAA), will hold a joint online outreach event on 14 July 2022 to discuss the EFRAG Exposure Drafts on the first set of Draft European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) and invite all interested stakeholders to participate. Academic contributors will provide their views on the proposed disclosure requirements and will further comment from their perspective on the Exposure Drafts on Draft ESRS.

During this online event, two parallel sessions will take place: one on draft environmental ESRS EDs and the other on draft social ESRS EDs.The audience will have the choice to join one or the other session and will be able to interact and raise questions that will be commented by the speakers.
